Intended Use
A DJ stent (Double J ureteral stent) is a medical device used in urology to maintain or restore the patency (openness) of the ureter and to ensure urine drainage from the kidney to the bladder when normal flow is impaired.

- High-Grade Biocompatible medical-grade, non-toxic, and non-irritant, Soft, flexible Polyurethane (PU) polymer ensuring maximum patient safety, minimal tissue reaction and superior patient tolerance
- specially designed smooth, conical tip for easy advancement over guidewires, atraumatic insertion and reduced patient discomfort during placement. Hydrophilic coating is an option for ultra-smooth insertion
- Multiple, large-bore drainage holes along the body and coil sections to enhance optimal & maximum urine flow and reduce the risk of blockage.
- Uniform wall thickness and a low-friction outer surface for smooth passage through the ureteroscope channel and reduced tissue irritation.
- Contains a Barium Sulphate, offering superior visibility under fluoroscopy for accurate placement and post-procedure monitoring.
